Congratulations, you’ve made the exciting decision to install a home Sport Court! Now comes the fun part: choosing the colors and design for your court.
At SportProsUSA, we know that every family is unique and customizing your residential court can be an exciting process. We take great care in helping families find the right colors and design to fit their personal preferences.
If you want to go crazy with the design, you can! Your Sport Court can feature anything from your family’s name to your favorite team’s colors. There are many color choices and customization options. With all the choices, it can easily seem a little overwhelming. Here’s a simple guide to help you finalize your decision.
What’s Important to You?
First, you should decide if you want your outdoor court to stand out or blend in. You can match your court colors to your house, blend in to the background landscape, complement the neighborhood, or really go for that “WOW” factor.
Blending In
If color congruence is important to you, you can consider neutral or traditional basketball court tones so it doesn’t stand out too much.

If you want your outdoor court to be a visual extension of your home, consider colors that match the house’s trim or other backyard accessories. This will allow the court to blend in and be pleasing to look at.
Create a Court for Your Favorite Team
Sports team enthusiasm usually runs in the family — which is why many families design their courts with their favorite teams in mind. Are you die-hard Knicks fans? Create a home basketball court in blue and orange with the classic Knicks logo. More of a hockey fan? Design your backyard court around your favorite NHL team. It’s up to you!
SportProsUSA lets you bring the spirit of your favorite professional (or local) sports team to your own home — without having to travel farther than your backyard. It doesn’t matter what your family’s favorite team is; with SportProsUSA, you can design a home sport court with almost any team and/or colors in mind.

Customization
Take a detailed, 360-degree look around your backyard. Think of the ways you can bring the personalized details of your family into your court. Your one-of-a-kind family deserves a unique place to play.
If you plan on selling the house in the near future, you might forgo placing a team logo or family name on the court. If this home is your longtime abode and distinctiveness is important to your family, embellishing your court with something unique is a great idea.
There are over 20 stock colors to choose from, but the options don’t end there. We can match colors to almost anything (at an additional cost) so you can customize your court to achieve virtually any desired look.
Painted Lines for Different Sports
As you get down to the nitty gritty of your design, it’s important to consider the different sports you want to play on your court. If you are choosing a multi-sport court (with multiple lines for different sports), we suggest you alter the color of the lines for each sport. Therefore, the lines for each sport will be distinctive colors to differentiate. You can select lines to be painted in white, gray, yellow, or black.
