Watchung, NJ (June 04, 2019) – Nancy Lieberman Charities in collaboration with Sport Court and SportProsUSA opened their newest Dream Court at Bayberry Elementary School in Watchung, New Jersey. This court marks the 81st Dream Court installed by Nancy Lieberman Charities and the 2nd in New Jersey.
Bayberry Elementary School is a public school located in Watchung, New Jersey. 362 students attend Bayberry Elementary School which homes Pre-K to 4th grade. These students will be able to use the basketball court to learn to play basketball while with practicing both teamwork and good sportsmanship.
The court was installed through Nancy Lieberman Charities’ Dream Court program. Dream Court is an initiative by Nancy Lieberman Charities that provides communities with high-quality basketball courts that serve as safe places to introduce basketball to children. The initiative was started in 2010 and has been helping communities across the United States ever since. The founder of this program, Nancy Lieberman, is a former WNBA coach, an Olympic medal winner, and the first woman to coach a professional men’s basketball team. Even with all of these achievements, she considers all of her work through her charities to be her greatest accomplishments.
